I've been so caught up with work over the past several weeks that I haven't had a time out in forever. I am giving myself one right now, before I go nuts and start working again.

So I guess that Chuck will be starting up in the next couple of weeks. I haven't had a thing to do with it for so long, mainly because my time has been limited with various things going on at home and now with school starting up and work being so busy. I do have to make sure that I start getting into it again though. I've missed so many things and so many great people on Twitter, I am actually starting to feel guilty.

I was planning to purchase the Season 3 BD at the end of this week, or at least preorder, but I can't right now, so I guess I will have to wait till I can pick it up at the store. :O(

I haven't been using this account very often, but I am trying to keep it strictly for my Chuck stuff... In saying that I haven't posted Chuck news in forever. So let's see, what's happened...

Well the one significant thing is that an air date has been released for Season 4... and that air date would be Sept 13th 2010. This is listed on IMDB. It doens't give the specific date, but there have been rumblings over on Twitter, I haven't researched at all, but I believe them without question. I'm really looking forward to the new season. Hopefully there will be some plot on Mama Bartowski. She's been a character that I've wondered about since the inception of the show and since we seem to have had a wrap up with Papa Bartowski, it definitely needs to be explored a little more. Seems as though there needs to be a little more character development with Sarah Walker and John Casey. I would especially like to see more character development with John Casey. Oh that Morgan, how could I forget dear Morgan. He's one of my favourite characters. He just makes me laugh even more so when when he gets together with Casey.

It's just such a great feeling know that the show will be returning. What would be an even greater feeling is know that the show will be extended. I bet NBC will be playing games again and we won't know until the season starts or whatever if they plan to extend it. I can't complain though, I am just so happy that they even brought it back. Then to hear that they are going to be at Comic Con... I really wish I could go to that, but it would have to take a miracle for me to get there. Sadly those are few and far between.

I should probably watch the previous episodes, so I know what's happened, because in truth I can't remember... and let's be honest, I just need an excuse to see Mr. Bomer and his hotness. I don't want my deal is I swear, but I have accounts going on all over the place. I should find a spot and stick to it. In any case I decided to set up an account over at Live Journal, mainly for my SMAP/Takuya Kimura addiction which, is just going a long nicely might I add.

I should have more things about Zac on here and of course Chuck so I will make more of an effort to do that. Last I saw he was in Spain, soaking up the sun. He did a vlog which if you're on facebook you can watch. He asked people to send in questions and he answered them. He is such a cutie. I am so glad that Chuck got picked up for another season. It's very exciting news. 13 episodes, hopefully it will start up in the new year. It will be forever away, but it's been better having loads of episodes week to week with only 2 breaks in between. Some of the other shows that I've watched have had 2-3 month breaks and it's hard to really follow the shows when they are like that. I personally reckon that they should take a page out of USA Networks book and do 13 in the fall, then 13 in the summer. That would be more than good enough, then they can spread out the shows and people will have a chance to get into shows and know the routine. This also applies to SyFy, because seriously, only airing Eureka for 13 straight weeks then nothing, it's a little sad. I've actually forgotten what happened last season. LAME.

What, the what?!

I have been away for so long, consumed with so many things. Chuck, yeah, you know it, but more recently I am completely hooked on a Japanese actor by the name of Takuya Kimura (or Kimura Takuya). I guess he is considered Japans golden child when it comes to TV shows. He's an absolute magnet. I mean seriously, a magnet. From the things that I've read about him and his shows, he is a ratings puller. Most everything that he becomes a part of turns to gold. His latest show, I think is doing the same. Now granted it only started on Monday, thank you for saving me by the way (it was by far the happiest thing in what was a miserable food poison filled), but the rating have been at 22% I don't even know what that means so it can't be all that bad. The name of the show is tsuki no koibito or 月の恋人 in 2 words Moon Lovers, I've yet to figure out how they came up with that title.

Kimura-San plays the role of a President of some sort of company. He pretty much looks pissed off most of the time, moody and sexy. Actually just moody. He only got really sexy at the end because he cracks that elusive smile.

I have yet to watch the translated version. I just haven't had the chance. I found this marvelous person on Live Journal (i know, i caved) who translates different SMAP (his a member of this band) things and I can't stop getting his stuff. Seriously I'm hooked.

Oh and I guess that Zachary Levi is having a ball in Europe, today he actually did a real scavenger hunt. I am going to need him to come to my home town and do the same thing. He's so marvelous, oh yes. Marvelous!

Hooked on Japan

Okay, so I am no really hooked on Japan, but I have been hooked on watching Japanese TV. I'm currently watching FujiTV streaming though my Windows Media Player. I've easily spent most of my day watching it.

It's hard to watch their shows though because we are 13 hours... yes, 13 hours behind. Right now as I write this, it's 9:41 in the morning over there on a Monday. It looks as though I am watching a morning show. It's all very NBC: The Today Show. I love it. I could listen to Japanese people talk all day long. They have such a calming tone in their voice.

Earlier in the day they had something going on where kids were crying, parents were crying, everyone was crying. I have no idea what was going on. Everyone was very very emotional.

So bringing it back to Chuck. There are only a few episode left to the season. Tomorrows episode is Chuck vs. The Tooth. This is the episode starring Christopher Lloyd. Doc Brown of Back to the Future. Can't wait. Another show starting today I guess technically (though in Japan) is Takuya Kimura's Moon Lovers or Tsuki no Koibito or 月の恋人 all the same thing. I am hoping that the site that I frequent: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/ posts the same day. I don't care if it's RAW or not, I'll watch it. Then right after it, they are having a SMAP special. I can't handle it. I wish I wasn't going to work.

So while I je't adore Zachary Levi, I've been side barring for a while with a Japanese actor/singer by the name of Kimura Takuya

He's from a band that is incredibly popular in Japan called SMAP. There are 5 members in this band and they have been around since the mid 90s. Though I haven't heard much of their music, I can honestly say that... well. Though it's not the best, they do have a couple of catchy tunes that are great to listen too. One of the ones that I recently heard, that I haven't heard in quite some time was Lionhart. I'll have to re-obtain it some how.

So anyway, I've known about this guy now for about 7 years. Wow, I can't believe that it's been that long. My husband got me interested in JDrama's and I'm hooked on things that he's been in. At least, I try to watch them. Some haven't peaked my interest nearly enough as some of his other projects, but on the whole, they are really very good. The latest one that I am watching is a show called Change. He plays a school teacher who's father was in politics. His father passes away and he is manipulated into taking the role as Prime Minister. It's actually very funny in many ways, though in many other ways it gets sad. I love it.

Well that's enough of that for now.

Chuck's recent episode was pretty good. It wasn't the best, couple of plot holes here and there, but it was entertaining. Very entertaining in fact.

Found out today that Zachary Levi is going to be in Europe for something like a month... Lucky thing. Wish I could stalk him. Seriously, a tiny part of me wishes that I could, but it's completely illegal and I don't have the funds for it. Besides, I have Kimura keeping my mind occupied. And on another note, Zac is growing a beard again. Love it... he looks great.

I love, loveity love reading gossip about the stars. I can't lie I really do... but I really love loveity love gossip directly from the stars, because let's be honest, unless they are complete habitual liars, they're really the only people that tell the truth (about themselves).

So when I heard that Jim Carey & Jenny McCarthy broke up, it was a slight shock to the system. Then to hear that it was on Twitter, I was... well I was surprised, but I thought; wow, that's pretty smart! Now reporters can't F' up that story! Nice! Come to think of it, that was pretty genius.

Yeah I said it! I mean come on, how many times have we heard tons of different versions of the same story? Jesse James and his dalliances with I don't know how many women and Tiger Woods too. Not to say that being on Twitter is the answer to everything. Clearly that is not the case, but you know what? Celebrities are people too and what because they are celebrities we're supposed to place them on a pedestal and they aren't supposed to be able to comment about things that happen in their personal life without it being criticized and analyzed? People all over the world are constantly looking for outlets. Letting other people know how they feel just so as to get their feelings off their chest. I consistently do it every day... oh follow me here: Twitter. And why do I do it? Well the simple fact is, I like to talk. Not always face to face with people and I've found over the years that I articulate a lot better in writing rather than actually speaking.

So CNN with this stupid little TMI Celebrity Tweets? F you! I'll return to my Jim Carey/Jenny McCarthy breakup. Maybe they didn't want BS lies floating around over the reason of their separation. I've seen less news on this over the past few days than I have on the whole Tiger and his Wood and Jesse and his well, whatever it is he has going on. I say celebrities should keep on tweeting. I don't care what it is their tweeting about. It's nice to know that they have lives beyond the silver screen.

I loved tonights episode of Chuck vs the American Hero, I really did, but the whole, oh wait Chuck isn't a liar after all was a little too much for me. So she finds out that Chuck didn't kill the mole and suddenly all is forgiven? I find it hard to wrap my head around that one.

Chuck barely asks for Sarah's understanding and the one time that he practically begs for it, she doesn't consider for a second?

Well anyway. Like I said great episode. Can't wait for next week! 3.13 first part of the season almost wrapped up.

Final Exam... Finally!!

I don't have much to comment on, regarding the upcoming episode of Chuck. The only thing that I "care" about is this **spoiler alert** finally Chuck will be naked, he will be wearing a towel (blue) and he will be fighting. I don't know any other details. Let's be honest though, I don't care. At all. There are 3 key words here; Naked, Towel & Fighting. incredibly exciting.

I've waited all season for this moment. I don't think it will matter what happens in this episode at all, I will be waiting for that moment. There will be quietness in the house and I can promise you that no one will disturb me. I know it's a little pathetic, but seriously I don't care.

Here's another little thing. I realize as I type this, that I really enjoy typing when I have lots of thoughts in my mind. Okay, I am going to take a deep breath and stop. I could just go on and on talking about a naked/shirtless Zachary Levi. For me it's like getting a gift that you knew was coming, but it still being so much better than you thought it could possibly be. I wish beyond wish that I could articulate better how I feel about it, so it sounded less crazy and more... well there are no words.

This is one of the best podcasts that I have ever heard. Please check out the website: http://chuckgasmic.com/ Magnus is superb. I pretty much agree with everything that he has said on every podcast that has done. I just sometimes wish that he wouldn’t refer to everyone as a general population. I’ve learned of myself through listening to the show that I am certainly no crazy shipper and I am certainly not a critic of the show. I know that you can’t love everything that about a show, but this is one of those shows that 98.99% of the time I do love it. I may not analyze it and break it down like Magnus and crew do, but hey… that’s why I love the show so much!

This episode; Chuck vs. the Tic Tac has a couple of major plot lines going on in it, the first and foremost is a little more background into Colonel Casey, or at least how he became Colonel Casey and the other major subplot delves into Chuck digging deeper into his Spyness.

I'm not going to spoil it anymore than that... I think that you should really watch the episode, it's amazing on so many levels.

My dream and aspiration of taking every single episode of Chuck and tearing them apart and breaking them down has become so fleeting lately, mainly because I am lazy, I won't lie. Time is so fleeting. Where I would love to spend hours of every day watching anything Zachary Levi, or rather watching anything that he stared in. Life isn't quite that accommodating and in truth, I'm starting to realize that I can't spend hours and hours on my bed watching episode after episode and watching movie after movie.

So I go onto Twitter instead. I've become hooked. I spend more time on it than I really should and I find my self compulsively going there to see if any of the people that I follow have anything funny or sarcastic to say. The more sarcastic the better. Then there are the moment when I find myself waiting to see if ZL will twitter. I have actually stayed up late, waiting patiently in the hope that he will have something to say, so that I will have the opportunity to respond, which is ridiculous, because my tweet, along with the thousands that he get's are lost, but I hold on to the hope that he at least see mine and thinks, "Huh, she's pretty funny".

I still hold onto the hope that one day I will get to meet him... there is so much more that I can add to that sentence but I won't. I have certain amount of self respect that I would like to hold on to, it's few and far between for me these days.

The one thing that I haven't done in quite some time is post some pictures of ZL. I have tons and tons, but I'm far too embarrassed to post some of the things that I've found. What I need to do one weekend or some time, is gather screen shots from the show and edit them to my desire then post them here. I've seen a couple of people do it. Maybe if I do it in stages, it won't seem so overwhelming for me. Speaking of overwhelming, I've been watching the Olympics for almost everyday which is unheard of for me.

I have found that I really enjoy the snowboarding, figure skating, mogels, luge and the speed skating. I believe that I actually enjoy the winter Olympics over the summer Olympics, that maybe, because they usually can air things at a time when I can actually watch it. Summer Olympics is usually on at such obscure times of the day. Though 2012, it will be in London... Oh to dream so that I could go. Along with dreaming that I could meet ZL. I just can't give up on that.

I watch a shocking amount of TV shows. Let me rephrase that, I record a shocking amount of shows. I've been recording and recording things but not watching them because I've been so consumed with watching Chuck over and over again. It's hard once you've started a loop of watching the show of being interested in other shows. I felt obligated this weekend though to start watching the other things that I've been recording because other wise, I am sure that I would have heard comments from the peanut gallery and I'm pretty sure that the machine would have reached capacity pretty soon.

Tomorrow I plan to watch Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy. Two shows that I absolutely love on ABC. I started watching a new show called the Deep End today too. It was actually very good. Witty conversations, intelligent banter. It was pretty impressive. The latest episode had Julia Ling in it... the ever wonderful Anna from Chuck. Apparently she'll be returning to the show for an episode (she mentioned it on her twitter. It would be really great to see her again. Last we heard of her she had run off with the sous chef at Benihana's. I don't know what there intent with her is for her return, but I would love to see more of her. Jeff's unhealthy obssession with her and her character in general was a great addition to the show. It's really good stuff that she'll be back.

This evening I've been listening to quite a bit of music. Found a group, through Chuck, called the Puppinni Sisters. They sing retro-esq 40s style songs, but most of the songs as far as I can tell are modern day. My favourite by far is Walk Like An Egyptian, originally by the Bangles. It's such a good version, I just had to get the album and I love it. I am going to try and get there other music too. It's so good.
Right now I am listening to Sade, Lover's Rock. I really do love the song. It's simply one of her best. There really isn't much to the lyrics (I've posted them earlier) but the musical composition is simply beautiful to listen to, as is her voice. I truly love Sade.
Now I've got on Sam Sparro, I know I've gone on about this guy about a million times before, but I really do love his stuff. I don't know when he came about, or how I completely missed him, but I simply LOVE his album, my two favourites being Black & Golf and Hot Mess. I like the song Hot Mess mainly because I find the lyrics amusing and if I didn't know that Sam Sparro was singing it, I would have thought that it was Prince, who I also think is great by the by. I don't think that I've posted any of his stuff around anywhere on this site, I call home. Guess I will have to find something. There is plenty to choose from, so it's not as though I don't have much to choose from in the content department.

I've been a little lacking in the content department as of late I am aware, we should put that down to how tired I am as well as the fact that I've been trying to not be so consumed by the ever lovely ZL. It's bad enough that I fantasize about him about half of my days, but then to constantly see if there is anything new going on is proving to be rather shameful on my part. So, I'm trying harder and harder to not, well let's be honest obsess the way in which I have. I have at least not watched one thing Chuck today or anything to do with him. Okay, well there was that live streaming that he did on Ustream, but I'm going to file that as mindless entertainment. I would have done that regardless of who it was (yeah, I say that, but even I know that, that isn't completey honest). But now I have to wrap up this day.

Oh and the big news of the day, my youngest finally went No. 2 in his potty chair! Woohoo....

So I'm on nyquil and I'll apologize in advance. So I have this theory as to why ZL is getting so buff. Did you see his arm work this last episode. Forget the plot and script. My focus for at least part of the episode, was checking out how defined ZL's arm's gave gotten. Now of we can please get his shirt off, my life may just be complete. If not slightly happier. I do believe though that there is a reason for the change. It's part of a bigger reason, sure, but my secret (yeah not anymore I guess) is that ZL will have his shirt off at some point and he will look stunning. I just wish it was sooner rather than later.

…Not Enough Time

Okay, there’s just so much I want to say and do, but there is just never enough time. I didn’t wake up early enough so I couldn’t get the file I wanted. Then I get home and I have to cook dinner, be a mum and try and squeeze in my Chuck. I now refer to him as my Chuck because, well it’s just nice for me to write and see.

So I watched Chuck tonight… vs the Nacho Sampler, what a great episode. There was a sense of maturity to the episode. Chuck became a man/spy. What a wonderfully sad sight to see. This episode showed the downside to Chuck becoming a spy. Are we to believe that every moment before that was a good reason for Chuck to become a spy. I guess the point is to continue watching until we find that out.

The only thing that I didn’t really like was chuck drinking the Johnny Walker: Black. I don’t like the idea of him drinking. Maybe I’m not supposed to and if I’m not, then I accept it and I’ll move on.

On a completely shallow note, Zac Levi… OMG I love your arms. Seriously, I wouldn’t like to see you with your shirt off. As much as Yvonne Strahovski has been half naked, I’d like to see Zac Levi just as much.

Next week’s episode looks tootin’ good too. Chuck vs. The Mask. Kissing on Hannah… okay that’s all I remember. That and Chuck dropping said mask? Can’t wait. There’s only one episode left until the Olympics!

Chuck vs. The Truth

As with most weekends, I watched Chuck. This song is another favourite from the episode Chuck vs. The Truth. This happens to be one of my favourite episodes and has one of my favourite scenes in it.

Chuck and Sarah, as part of their cover have to sleep over. The scene opens with Chuck decked out in grey sweats and a grey T-shirt dancing t Ain't I Been Good To You by the Isley Brothers. Sarah comes to his door and watches him for just a moment before Chuck embarrassedly realizes that she is watching him. As she walks in, she takes in the room around her noticing all the candles that Chuck has lit as well as the music that he has on. She asks "What is it you think is going to happen here tonight Chuck" Chuck is embarrassed, of course and pretty much tells her, he didn't know what to expect, but of course he wasn't expecting them to have sex. My favourite part of the whole scene is when Chuck lays in his bed and Sarah disrobes from her jacket revealing a, well, revealing purple see through teddy. His words are "What!? You give me crap about lighting some candles and you come in wearing that"

It's such a great scene, I think in that brief moment they are both being completely real about what they would like to see from their relationship, yet are unable to do.

Now the song that I've got below has nothing to do with the scene... but I just like it so much that I just had to share. Check it out, I don't think that you will be disappointed and as always... Watch Chuck it is a truly great show!

So this incredibly short post is not going to be about Zac Levi at all, but about my four year old who finally went potty in the toilet. Such a big step for my little guy. It tok him 12 hours and 4 sets of undies to finally get it "out of him". I'm so proud!

I will post a pic of Zac Levi though because it makes me happy... Still not as happy as my son finally making it to big boy briefs! Woohoo

Today started out okay and ended in great disappointment. I was hoping beyond hope to somehow make to San Diego for Comic Con, then around 9pm I was pretty much told it’s not going to happen.

But, whatever, I will always hold out hope that it will happen. I just have to work hard and stay focused and you never know miracles may happen. My motivations for going maybe completely fruitless, but I think I was more excited about just going to San Diego than I was anything else. I would love to visit there as I’ve heard it such a beautiful place to go. I will make it over there one day. I promise.

Well with great disappoint comes… picture time. Seriously I need something to cheer me up. I have to do a little personal journal entries to lift my spirits.

'shipper admittance

I realized today that I am not a crazy Chuck shipper... oh no I am something far, far worse. I am Zac Levi shipper. Please not that I did differentiate between crazy and, well the lack of crazy.

See the thing of it is this. Zac Levi, is above everything, one of *the* most adorable actors that I have ever seen on screen. His interviews or quirk and he rambles on and on like there is no tomorrow. He's the kind of person that could talk for hours and I'd have no problem listening to them. Of course it also helps that he is also extremely handsome. When I say extremely, I don't think that, that even covers how just undeniable good looking he is. How is it that God packaged, this outwardly perfect package. His hair is perfect, his teeth are perfect, his body appears perfect, his voice is perfect, his face... perfect. I mean it's just simply bizarre. Even the fact that he could play video games all day long (perception is everything here) and not give a care about any thing else, not a problem. I actually live with someone like that now, so when I say, not a problem. I really do mean it. Surely there has to be something wrong with him?

What I wish beyond anything in the world, peace and happiness on earth withstanding, is that I one day have the honor of meeting him. Seriously, I really do! To just gaze at him without my heart thumping out of my body and just have the ability to be in his presence! That would make me unbelievably happy... and yes I would like to be able to able to strike up a friendship and blah, blah, blah. I know that I am married (happily, may I add) but that doesn't mean I am neither blind nor stupid. My husband knows the rules. If you've seen friends, you'll know the rules 2. Every couple should have a famous 10. All my slots would be taken up with Zac Levi. I know I don't *love* him. I said I wasn't a crazy shipper, but I do absolutely adore him.

Short & Sweet

My mind has been a little blank today. Actually not a little, it's been completely blank. In fact I don't think that I have given much thought to thinking at all today. I'm stuck in a Chuck rut. I want to watch Chuck, over and over and over again. There is nothing else to watch so the choices are pretty limited.

I think though in an effort to get to bed early, I'll watch Craig Ferguson's the Late Late Show.

I said it would be short and sweet. I never (well rarely) fail to deliver.

First Class... really was first class

Chuck vs. First Class good episode... very good in fact. So good in fact that I would like to watch it for the third time. Ssh... don't tell my husband, he would be a little mad at me. Well actually very. Let's be honest.

Chuck finally get's to go on his first solo mission. Was it really a solo mission though? For all intent purposes. Did he do it well, as best as Chuck can and can I say that he did pretty well. I've felt for the past couple of episodes that Chuck really hasn't been Chuck. That they've some how turned him into someone else overnight, tonight I admit... There's our Chuck. Excited, yet nervous. Enthusiastic, but hesitant. Season 3 is certainly proving to be a good season. I want to say great. I really do, but I'm nervous that if I do, the episodes won't be as good. Is that possible? Next week's episode looks like it's going to be a hoot, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Shaw is rapidly becoming a character I can't wait to know more about. As soon as he produced the ring, I instantly thought about Mr & Mrs. Smith. Wouldn't it be great that Chuck & Sarah get together and they begin the foundations of being a super spy couple. If they could get passed having sex first, it might be more believable. There's so much latent sexual tension between them, that I'm frustrated for them. Please, please, please let them have sex this season. I can't take it anymore. Wow, I went way off topic, back to being on point. It's going to be great to see what else he can bring to the show. I hope that he certainly does teach Chuck to be the spy that Chuck want's to be, though not what Shaw wants him to be.

Then there's Hannah, my inital reaction to Hannah is... Wow, sweet as pie. I hope that she helps to bring Chuck closer to Sarah, at least that being the ultimate goal. If I actually end up liking her character, I am going to be so mad at myself. Not because she is a good character, but because I can not stand Kristin Kreuk. Seriously I am not a big fan at all. Infact years of Lana Lang has forever tained my view of her acting chops. When she starred in Smallville, I desperately wanted her to die a firey death. Lana that is. I don't care enough about Kristin to see her in anything, ever!

...and Sarah! I love it when she get's pissed off. For any reason, it's great! I mean it. Seriously!! She should be pissed off more often, she can be very intimidating. I hope that we get to see more of that in the future. Yvonne Strahovski/Sarah Walker could potentially kill someone with a look. Now that is the episode that I am looking for. I think what I enjoyed the most was the obvious relationship that has now grown between Sarah and Casey. The fact that Casey even called to check up on Chuck was a testament to how much he (Casey) has developed feelings of concern for him. It just goes to show that you can't help falling in love with Chuck. Yeah I said, I think you know what I meant! Casey's like a turtle bar. Hard on the outside with various soft parts on the inside around harder parts. That's like the worst description ever, but whatever. Casey cares enough about Chuck to be concerned about him, but is still tough with him when he needs to be. Scratch that, when he wants to be, which is pretty much all the time.

As always some of the best comedy came from the antics at the Buy More, I swear that stuff never get's old. Lester, Jeff & Morgan are simply put brilliant. Scott Krinsky, Vic Sahay & Joshua Gomez really have great comic timing with each other. Though I don't think I could handle a whole hour of that, I would certainly love to see some serious webisodes with them. It's not always the grand actions either that make them so funny. It is often as simple as the looks that they share, so perfectly orchestrated, that make for the funniest moments.

Tonight was truly a great Chuck night and of course I am going to ruin everything by being incredibly shallow and saying. Zac Levi, I really do adore you. You pull off purple so well... and have you been working out? I can barely stand it. Though, I wish that you would grow the mane out a little. As someone who also has curly hair, I feel as though your hair is going through that awkward stage where parts of it are trying to free themselves from the reservation. Yes, it's so incredibly shallow of me to talk about your hair as though it matters, but I love your hair. Wow, it's even weirder seeing the words in front me. I love your hair. Tame the mane man... lick it flat... and please let make up know that you don't need the front of your hair brushed.

Chuck vs. The Pink Slip

This is going to be a work in progress. But it's going to start with this; this episode is the first episode that I ever watched where I actively thought. I want that song. That song was Sam Sparro's - Black & Gold. The song is absolutely brilliant. The lyrics are slightly unusal (I've posted them previously) but it is by far my favourite "Chuck" song.

Then there is episode itself. When I first watched the episode, I had a lot of mixed feelings about it. The first was that, I couldn't believe that it was back. I'd been waiting for so long, that now that it was here, I didn't know if I should love it or expect more. Maybe even that I'd missed things about previous episodes that I didn't quite see how they fit into this one. As with me and all Chuck episodes, there is a lot of value to watching them a couple of times, to pick up on the nuances that may have been missed the first time around.

One thing that I will say, is that Zachary Levi playing the guitar... was awesome. Now I don't know how much of that is him actually playing that, but I really love that piece that he plays. Does anyone know where I can get it? I really want it. So that's a tiny part of a 42 minute episode. What about the rest? Let's leave that to another day... Anti-climatic. Yes. but thank you for reading. One of these days I am going to start at episode one and give a personal view on each of the episodes. I'll call it project Chuck.

Tomorrow Chuck vs. First Class (NBC @ 8pm est) airs. I read a couple of spoilers... sounds like it's going to be a good episode. Hopefully we will see a few Kristan Kreuk fans joins us, bumping up our ratings. Smallville is doing pretty well so I am sure that there will be people watching for her alone. At least one hopes. Alright, I really am leaving this time. My phone is dying and I plan to watch some eps on it, before I finally wrap up this night.

Oh and catch Zachary Levi on the Ellen Show at 4pm on ABC (WFTS for Tampa viewers). I've already set my DVR. I am so excited.

My life is filled with little in the way of things to do. So when I went on twitter tonight, I would never have guessed that it would turn into such an exciting event. Zachary Levi decided on the spur of the moment that he was going to do a little scavenger hunting and then people could do some Q&A's. I missed out on the first 2, but I got the third. He wanted to see a pic of Spiral. Lucky for me I was able to produce. It was very exciting stuff. I know that the guy is miles and miles away and completely attainable, but my heart was pounding and I was trying to come up with a smart question, that was also a fun question. I ended up asking the one question that's been on my mind since the shows inception. Here it is....

The Pound Cake Recipe

I am making this tonight. I love pound cake so much.

Southwest Georgia Pound Cake Recipe courtesy Paula Deen
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (you may use lemon or almond flavoring instead)

Generously grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan. Do not preheat the oven.

Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Alternately add flour mixture and heavy cream to butter-sugar mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in flavoring.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Put into a cold oven and set the temperature to 325 degrees F. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes without opening the oven door. Bake for an additional 15 minutes if necessary. Remove from the oven and cool in pan for 15 minutes. Invert cake onto cake plate. For a real treat, serve yourself a slice while it's still warm.

Does anyone remember in school watching those old movies when you had no studying to do. We used to watch this one movie every year, Jason and the Argonauts. There was actually a couple others that we used to watch:

The Worst Witch - looking back it's odd that we were allowed to watch this. I mean I went to a Catholic Primary school after all.

The Ten Commandments - completely appropriate since I went to a Catholic primary school.

And this Jason that I speak of, which is now airing on TCMHD.

I haven't seen this movie in years and I mean years. The actor playing Jason I don't recognize at all... Has it really been that long? Who's to say, though I do remember all of these other parts, the Gods playing with the lives of their people. Some of the scenes in fact. But the actors. It's weird I just don't remember them. I'm going to sit and enjoy the movie, it'll be the first time in a while that I haven't watched Chuck. The first time in a long while that I've actually wanted to watch something else.

Watching Hope for Haiti Now. I started watching it on ABC, but then switched over to NBC. It's very inspiring and I donated $10 via my cellphone. The people of Haiti certainly don't deserve to be going through what they are. $10 doesn't seem like much, but it's quite literally all I can give.

Today Zachary Levi tweeted more than I think that I have ever seen him tweet. It was great. I can't believe that I commited a sentence to that. What of it? I just hope that he has opportunity to tweet more. It's great when stars take the time to tweet. It would be great if occassionally stars would tweet back. Not like they have all the time in the world, but it's nice to see when they do.

I thought today I was going to be clear of a headache. I was excited too soon, as the day wound day, my head began to hurt again. I took two Advil PM, I am going to make my journal entry and then head off to bed.

My son is loving on me big time. He is so adorable. He calls me his pretty flower. I reckon he's going to be quite the ladies man, I imagine that just the way that he treats the women in his life that he will love them. Now my other son, I would say that he is going to be Mr. Dark and Mysterious. I find him mysterious sometimes, because I don't know what the heck he is thinking sometimes. Actually make that most of the time. He's so caught up in his world of fantasy, I often have to reel him back in. It's sweet and tragic all at the same time. I forsee that we are raising Nerds. Something I am very proud of.

Today's just one of those days where my head felt like it was being compressed in a vice. My eye throbbed and all I wanted to do was sleep.

My Shade...

My shade was grey today. It was a downer of a day. I can't wait for this week to be over. I don't have the energy to care about anything at all. So I am going to wrap up this day by shutting myself down and making a journal entry and off to bed I go. We'll see how committed I am to the exercise in T-10.

....got my DVD today which I was super happy about, because I was supposed to get it tomorrow. It's always nice when you get things earlier than you're supposed to. I'm going to try and sqyeeze it in sometime tomorrow before the hubby get's home from work. Zachary Levi has sort of become my guilty pleasure. It's not something that I really openly share with him, though he is fully aware that I really enjoy his body of work. A lot. I mean. A lot. I'm trying to be an uber fan without being weird. I've seen a lot of things that he's been in... and though I may not enjoy all of it. Shades of Ray is great, Spiral freaked me out. Great movie though and then there is Weiners, I don't know if I'm even going to like this movie, but I will give it a shot. I mean the worse that can happen is that it's complete crap.

Of all the things that I have enjoyed him in. Chuck is my favourite, closely followed by Ray Rehman (Shades of Ray) and then Less than Perfect, which by the way they really need to release on DVD. It was such a great show and it was very disappointing when it got canceled. Kipp Steadman was great, I loved how mean he was along with, the lady I can't remember. It's sad, but I could talk about him for ages.

Heard that Zachary Levi is supposed to be on Bonnie Hunt come Monday (at least recording an episode). Who knows when that airs. I'll diligently keep my eyes metaphorically open.

Chuck vs. The Hair Dye

Things are little dull in the Smith household so I decided while at Super Wally World that I would re-dye my hair, or shall we say, do a little touch up. So I am going for natural black or whatever this has turned into. I love dying my hair, mainly because it provides me with a little me time. So while doing my hair, I decided that I would watch Chuck. Since I started my venture, I've seen 4 episodes. Actually I am on the fourth Episode now Chuck vs the Lethal Weapon. I love this episode because of Cole. When Chuck finally embrasses his feelings for Sarah. Why does another man always have to make men see what is right in front of them.

Now when I started writing this several hours ago, I was going to write up this whole long blog dedicated to an episode. Since that time, about 2 1/2 hours ago, I got really really tired. So I am going to do whatever it is I need to do with my hair and then begin the process of wrapping up a very long day.

Chuck vs. Operation Awesome

So let's start with the simple stuff. Aesthetic stuff first

Chuck's hair is shorter and I miss the longer wavier do.
Chuck isn't wearing his Nerd Herd clothes as much and that makes me sad
Chuck is looking a little slender these days. Maybe it's the hair.
Chuck looks good in Brown, blue, jeans, shirts, slacks, high tops, clothes on, clothes off. I think is a moot point, but it still needed pointing out.

Now let's address the more important stuff. The stuff that really mattered. The meat and potatoes of it all. This was one of the better episodes so far. He was confident, but not really. Assertive and protective of his family. All things to admire. There were developments that were exciting to see laced with a little bit of comedy. Which is what makes this show so great. One of my favourite scenes was with Ellie, Awesome and Chuck. Over the season's we've seen Chuck struggle with his lies, but seeing Awesome having to be forced to lie to Ellie, that was priceless! I don't think though that I could watch that again... a new lie that is.

Chuck bleeds... did anyone else think that was hot? I hope that there will be more blood this season, along with more hair, did I mention that I miss the slighty longer do? I'm really hung up on that aren't I? Anyway... Angie Harmon playing the villainess Sydney was brilliant. I've liked her whenever I have seen her and she played her part fanatastically. This is way off topic, but I would love to see Zachary Levi and her in a movie together... Older lady love interest? I'm disgusting what can I say.

So next week we're going to see Hannah... and Chuck has a solo mission on a plane? What the what!?

Oh and Morgan, genius. It's like watching your kid grow up. So much to be proud of. Though I would have liked to see him kick Lester's arse.

I remember when I was a young girl my father being a fan of Sade. He had the album Diamond Life. I never really listened to it, because to be honest, it wasn't music that I was interested in and furthermore it came out in 1985. I was four. It wasn't until a 2000 when I happened across her album Lovers Rock that I really became a fan.

Lovers Rock is easily my most favourite album. Songs like King of Sorrow and Lovers Rock can be played over and over again and you can pull away something new from it every time. When I found out that a new album was going to be released I was so excited. I really can't wait. When it comes out on Feb 9th 2010. I am going to make sure that somehow I am going to get the album.

Another artist who is absolutely amazing is Corinne Bailey Rae. Her songs are so beautiful written and her voice is angelic. Her new album dropping next week I am sure is going to be a hit. I've only heard a small portion of her new release, but it sounds so good.

Golden Globes or GG

So the Golden Globes was on tonight. It's the first time that I have ever watched it and admittedly it was rather entertaining. I don't particularly care for award shows in anyway, but it was certainly worth watching, if anything to get a glimpse of the ever lovely Zachary Levi. I found this little article out on the New York Times website: http://carpetbagger.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/01/17/chucks-warm-up-routine/. All doubts I had about the guy smoking were rapidly dashed with the first line... LOL. Oh well.
So a couple of observation points. Wow, ZL has thinned out some, not that it matters in any capacity, he's a fantastic looking guy no matter what... and he looked uber tanned. To the point where he looked a little orange. It must be the HD camera's or the lighting or something, because as above I see orange to my right, not so much.

It was great seeing him on stage with Amy Poehler and the joke that they made was pretty funny. I can't imagine anyone faking it with him. The person would have to be mad to fake it. I could just have an orgasm looking at him. Wait did I say that out loud? Who care's it's true and if anyone tried to tell me other wise I would call them a liar.

Today was another day that I happily watch Chuck and I realized today that Zachary Levi, doesn't look good in a suit. Maybe it's because he's so tall and gangly (or self described wet noodle). But I think that he just looks so much better without the blazer. Once he throws on one of those suckers it get's all sorts of awkward looking. Again don't get me wrong, he does look good in almost everything he wears, but for some reason he looks so uncomfortable in a suit.

Yeah I dedicated a whole entry to Zachary Levi in a suit. I feel sort of pathetic, but I'm running on empty... you'll forgive me I'm sure

Chuck... Part II

It is quite possible that my husband has put on Chuck vs. Angel De La Muerta for my benefit. If that's true, cute. If it was to gain my attention, not so cute. Either way, now I get to see ZL before I go to bed and quite honestly that's not a bad thing at all.

I wonder if they are trying to get his hair shorter on the show. Do these people not know the rules for people with curly hair? Don't brush that sucker out. He's got a poof at the front. It's screaming for gel. He's still very good looking though and I am sure if he wore a paperbag over his head he would still manage to make that look great. From the interviews that I've seen him in too, he seems like a genuinely nice person. Very lively and light. Of course 5 minute interviews are no reflection on a person. Though it is nice to get a glimmer of what they maybe like. The imagination is left to fill in the remaining blanks. Something that is very easy to do.

Thanks to DVR, I've watched season three of chuck a couple of times now... it feels as though there has been a shift in the show. As an avid fan of season one and two, my inital reaction is that the show is no longer the same. Let me rephrase that, Chuck doesn't seem the same. The intent is there, but he seems cockier. Cocky Chuck doesn't work. Yes, cocky and Chuck were worked into the same sentence or maybe it's just the hair? Whatever it is, I'm just not feeling it. Could it be the weighted responsiblity passed on to Chuck has changed him and rightly so, he has the right to evolve and grow and certainly become a different type of Chuck. A 2.0 version, but the progression seems too rapid. I wish that it had been slowed down. The concept I understand is to move the story along enough to know how he get's to where he is now, but there is so much that could have been explored with training and developing his skills (sure he learned some as the Intersect). This feels as though they are throwing him in feet first though, awkwardly and completely unplanned. The more times over I watch the episodes, the more I feel that way. I guess I should stop analyzing and just enjoy the show for what it is. Entertainment pure and simple.

I will say this, the man can move (ZL), I would not mind shaking my hips with him. Preferably a Tango!

Classically Romantic... Classical

Classical music, everyone should be made to listen to it. If not to open their eyes to it, but to really get an appreciation for it. It's one of those things that can calm you down or evoke emotions in you that you may not have known existed.

Classical music for me is a complete stress reliever and also an inspiration. My father was the first person to expose me to classical music and though I love the tradional pieces by Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. It has been Debussy and Vaughn Williams that really touch my heart. Each piece makes me so happy and calms me down on the most frustrating of days. There are times when the music makes me feel more passionate and that is the feeling that I love the most.

I've even made a playlist for pieces that collectively inspire me to want to write. Made mainly up of Debussy. Some pieces I'd never even heard of before, what I ended up doing is taking a small sampling from a collection that I had of the first moments of the song and based on whether I liked the sound of it or not, would determine if it would go on my list. It's resulted in 17 of the most interesting pieces that I have personally ever heard.

My Thoughts in Your Head

Today's been one of those days where I've had way too much time to think to myself. Just thought after thought popping into my head, when they really have no business being there. It's okay for a while, but then it just get's annoying.

Like, what would I do if I met someone famous. Let me tell you what the reality is, I don't do anything. I prefer to leave people to their business. Rather I admire from afar. I've only seen a two famous people in my life time, one of them a Gallagher brother from Oasis and the other Billy Connolly. Both times, I was far too embarrassed to even go up to them and say anything or ask for picture or anything. I just see them as people that don't want to be bothered. So even though in my mind, I would love to do and say a thousand things, it would never happen. Mainly because I am a chicken... well you know the rest.

In my imagination I would be super confident, know all the right things to say and make fast friends... of course there would be a little more to that depending on the right person, but I'll save that for a journal entry.

I've got to try and keep a light head about the way I feel right now, because I feel as though I've been consumed by my feels and they aren't ever going to see the light of day. If I could project them in another way, maybe it would be okay, but right now, they are just unhealthy and sadly are making me depressed. Tomorrow I have to do something different with myself, though I know that what I say now and what I end up doing are going to be two completely different things.

On a lighter note, of what seems like a thoughtful blog, I found out that Corinne Bailey Rae is coming out with a new album at the end of the month The Sea... She's a great artist, I can not wait to hear more of her music!

Shades of Ray... life's not always brown or white

If I wore blue mascara, I don't think that would look as good on me as it does on some other women or men depending on who you talk to.

Today I decided, that since I could, I would order me a littl movie by the name of Shades of Ray. Turns out this is a really, and I mean really, good movie. I was actually how surprised how much I enjoyed it. The characters were great and so were the actors. Admittedly the primary reason that I started watching the show was because of how much I enjoy Zachary Levi. He does an excellent job in this movie. I completely understood the character. I never knew how much being of mix culture can make a difference to the kind of person that you are. It certainly was very personal to me.

On a much lighter note... my god, is he gorgeous in this movie. I could watch it over and over again

Chuck... Part I

It started long ago when a show by the name of Less Than Perfect aired sometime in 2002. Kipp Steadman... Clean cut, sweater vest wearing, meanie. Who as it turns out wasn't that mean after all. It was at that time that a one Zachary Levi was made known to me. At the time I thought that he would be too mean to ever be someone that I could get into. Four years later he pops up in a little show named Chuck.

It takes just a moment and I am hooked! The nerd, who has CIA/NSA secrets downloaded into his brain called the Intersect. It's action packed, funny and above everything else very entertaining.

Two seasons have gone by and after buying both on Blu-ray and watching them repeatedly, I've got a little bitty crush on Zachary Levi. I'm 29! I'm married with three children, I shouldn't have a crush on a movie star. That was what Keanu Reeves was all about when I was 15 (yeah that crush lasted over 10 years).

So begins the madness. Here will be an attempt by me to harness this crush and provide my self an outlet and maybe a place of entertainment to talk about things Zachary. Let it begin.
